July: THE SECOND ALBUM, still without a definitive title, will be divided, like ROUND MI, in three sections. The middle section is FINISHED, and it's inspired by the Brazilian poet AUGUSTO DOS ANJOS, known as the "poet of death and melancholy". His poems are always pessimist and introspective, but sometimes showing great spirituality. Augusto is unique in Brazilian literature. He was born in 1884, in the northeastern Brazilian state of Paraíba, and died prematurely of pneumonia in 1914, in Rio de Janeiro, 29 years old.
The first section of the album is inspired by the Swiss surrealist painter H.R.GIGER. It is almost finished. There are still only plans for the final section, but the guidelines have been defined. Details about it will be announced whenever possible... The second album shall be dark and furious...

o 2005

October: Works in progress:
1. The second album. Most of its music is inspired by the works of the surrealist Swiss painter and sculptor H.R.Giger, and the pessimist, dark Brazilian poet Augusto dos Anjos. Two tracks are ready.
2. A double album with 4 or 5 long tracks, made only with piano sounds, usually distorted with filters and effects. One of them (26 minutes long) is ready. It will released for free on the web. Possibly, a limited CD edition will also be made. A CD is more durable than a CD-R...
3. A collaboration with Hrönir, an electroacoustic music duo from Recife, Brazil.

January-September: Like 2003, this year has been marked by a serious lack of time, due to day job and college at night. A few experimental recordings have been made.

FOI CACHAÇA DE GRAÇA: free improvisation recorded in 10.jan.2004 with Carlos D (violin) and Eduardo Pletsch (drums), members of Sensorial Estéreo. Special participations by Filipe Giraknob e Alberico. The title means "it was free booze".

A. Foi (30:45)
B. Cachaça de Graça (29:26)

o 2004

10 MINUTES: A collection of experimental recordings made in October and November. Sweeper is a sound sculpture, Piano (parts 1-2-3) is another chapter in a series of experiments with piano sounds, Berlin High School is a typical Berlin school-sounding piece and Giger 2 is a bunch of ideas for the second album. These recordings are instant, or real-time compositions; they were done only with a few rules: no rehearsals; no careful sound design - that is, use anything you already have - and the track length should be 10 minutes, or not much longer. The last track is a mix of two recordings.

1. Sweeper (2003.10.11) (10:32)
2. Piano part 1 (2003.10.25) (10:04)
3. Piano part 2 (2003.10.25) (10:16)
4. Piano part 3 (2003.10.25) (10:16)
5. Berlin High School (2003.11.16) (10:35)
6. Giger 2 (2003.11.22) (22:52)

July: End of participation in Sensorial Estéreo, registered on the EP 10 MIL HERTZ SUÍTE HI-FI.

May-June: First recordings for the new album.

April: Recording of the new album is about to begin; the first music, born as "Blackonyx part 1", is near the definitive shape, after countless reconstructions and re-recordings.

February: Beginning of participation with the experimental rock group Sensorial Estéreo.

o 2002

ACIDENTES ACCIDENTALS: A 75 minute recording made at one go in December 1st, while ROUND MI was being composed. The music develops slowly, in a kind of "exploration-composition". For the recording of a CDR, the piece was divided in 5 movements:

1. Acidental 1 (22:38)
2. Acidental 2 (19:46)
3. Acidental 3: Get Set (7:11)
4. Acidental 4: Races Along the Edge (18:05)
5. Acidental 5: Last Round (6:55)

September: I recorded the first of many versions of LOOPSURF-LOOPSEARCH. With this piece and the FLOATING TONES melody, the work in ROUND MI began.

April: I wrote the first melody from ROUND MI, called FLOATING TONES AROUND MI; the album title, created much later, is just an abbreviation of this name.

SEQUENSEA: Experimental album composed after the edition of AVOJO, between August/2000 and March/2001, also totally using the computer. Only one continuous piece, divided in ten parts in many different styles. Also composed only on computer, between August, after the edition of AVOJO, and March of 2001.
