DAMO SUZUKI: voice
Miguel Barella: electric guitar
Paulo Beto: electronics
Ian Dollabella: bass guitar
Renato Ferreira: sax e clarinet
Carlos Issa: guitarra
Gustavo Jobim: synthesizer
Maurício Takara: drums
Sérgio Ugeda: electric guitar
This concert would have had two bands, each one with seven musicians
(plus Damo), but some of them couldn't be there. They could only
play if they had the Brazilian Order of Musicians license, which
is very expensive to get (I had to get one for this concert).
This Order, as far as I could see, is only good for stealing
the musicians' hard-earned money. Five musicians couldn't play: Richard
Ribeiro, Agnaldo Mori, Glauco Felix, Eduardo
Ramos e Fernando Cappi; and in the same 4hype festival, Tony
da Gatorra also couldn't
play because he couldn't afford the license. He repairs
television sets for a living. (note: the link about Tony is an
article in Portuguese.) So, the protest is registered here!
